Hey, how's it going?  My name is Brandon.  I'm your main man here at Brandon C Photo.  I've spent the last 18 years living in Maryland after moving around a bunch with my family.  Once I got out of the nest I found my way to Baltimore.  I loved it there.  So much to do, so many awesome people to meet, and such history!  In 2020, in spite of all of the challenges, I married my beautiful wife and we moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to start the next chapter in our life together. Now after weathering the COVID storm we are in Charlotte, NC and ready to capture your perfect wedding day.

So lets dig a little deeper about me.  I'm a lover of books, particularly nerdy ones.  I also love craft beers and locals bars.  The first thing I hunt down when in a new town is their best local beer in the most laid back hometown bar.  I have an affinity for marzens, hefeweizens, and farmhouse ales, and well, beer in general.  I like beer damn it, don't judge me.  Want to grab a drink?   Hit me up.

My Story

Photography, where do I start.  I was that kid who always had a disposable camera on hand.  Years passed and I got busy with school and life, then being an adult (the annoying stuff no one really wants to do but we all have to cause bills and what not).  Somewhere along the way, digital cameras became awesome.  I was fortunate enough to meet a guy who had been a photographer for over 20 years.  He took me under his wing and taught me the basics of photography.  After spending some time gleaning all the information I possibly could from him I branched out on my own.  Shortly there after I met an amazing fashion photographer from LA.  He and I became quick friends and with his help my style and skills really emerged.

Then two very close friends of mine got engaged.  They reached out to me and asked if I would photograph their engagement photos in downtown Annapolis.  Of course I agreed.  About half way through the shoot I realized that I had a HUGE smile on my face.  I felt exhilarated, hell this was awesome!  It was at that moment that I realized that this was what I needed to do with my life.  I began working with so many amazing couples.  Capturing all of those special moments gave me such a feeling of fulfillment.  Whether its wedding photography, family photography, or portraits, I just love doing it.

I take a very laid back approach to how I shoot weddings and couples in general.  It's my goal to make you feel as comfortable as possible; like 3 friends hanging out and there just so happens to be a camera there.  When I shoot weddings I do everything I can do to become part of the group, I even promise to make you laugh a few times!  I've found that actually interacting with the wedding party, and the guests on a personal level helps to achieve truly genuine photos.  Plus, everyone has an interesting story to tell and I love hearing them.  I'm one of those people who can talk to anyone.  I love immersing myself in the wedding day, this often ends up with me dancing at the reception with everyone else.  And with my moves?  Like I said, I promise to make you laugh. By the end of your wedding we will be like old friends.  Don't we all need one more friend.

What Makes Me Different

There are a lot of wedding photographers out there.  A lot of them shoot a similar style to me and are in a similar price range.  There are a few BIG differences between them and me.  I pride myself in the time it takes me get you your images.  It'll never take more than 3 weeks to get your online gallery.  I love what I do and I'm more than willing to stay up all night doing it!  Hell, this is what you're paying me for right?  The other difference is how I treat my customers.  I've been on the wrong end of a sales pitch before.  It's uncomfortable, nauseating, and often leaves you with buyer's regret before you've even purchased anything.  I don't do that, I don't like that done to me.  I'm honest with you about my prices, I don't hide extra fees or charge you an unnecessary mark up on my products.  Finally, I am always around.  It's 2 AM and you're worried about the lighting for your ceremony cause you know Pastor Mike doesn't want flash photography and it might be cloudy that day?  (Come'on Pastor Mike...)  Shoot me a text, I'll get back to you and you'll be able to rest knowing that I've got a plan and I'll share that plan with you, even if that plan doesn't involve flash photography.  Just remember, you'll get your photos fast, I won't give you the runaround, and we are in this together.
