So I had a neat opportunity this last month. I got to shoot two weddings in a row at the same venue. A lot of people would find that to be quite boring. It gave me an opportunity to flex my creative muscles. Sure, there’s a few standard shots that you always want to get, but showing a couple’s unique personality in their wedding is one of my goals.
Nick and Nicole, got married at a lovely little church in the middle of no where up near the PA boarder. As those of you from Maryland know, the weather was all over the place. Their Summer wedding was one of the hottest and most humid day’s we’d experienced this year but you wouldn’t know it looking at this couple. After their wedding, the wedding party made its way to The Mansion at Valley Country Club for their cocktail hour and reception. If you’re looking for a lovely and intimate place to host your wedding and reception, I can’t recommend them enough. Their staff is accommodating and helpful beyond measure. Just let me say…the crab cakes are amazing.
