The big thing in this region is Country Club Weddings. Thankfully I have a long history of photographing weddings at Country Clubs. My first real “big” wedding was actually at a Country Club. There is a certain charm that the historic Country Clubs bring to a wedding day, you can really feel the history there.

Megan and Noah's Winter Wedding
You may remember these two from an earlier blog post with their snuggly (it can be an adjective) engagement photographs. They got married last winter, got it in right before COVID made life challenging. Well their wedding photographs turned out as intimate as their engagement did. I always enjoy when I get to travel to people’s homes to photograph them getting ready for their wedding day. It just adds to the story. I also love when couples decide to do a first look; it really makes the whole day go easier. It was really great getting to photograph their couples portraits by the bay; everything just clicked.
Please enjoy Megan and Noah’s winter wedding.
cheers

ack in the spring I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a couple that I've known for many years. In fact, Brad used to live in the room directly below me in college. Apparently, these two met in our college's computer lab while Brad was attempting to hack the World Bank and Jenni did homework. I'm not sure the hacking worked but in the end he got something much more valuable than money. Time passed, they fell in love. According to Brad its because Jenni has, "pretty hair and a nice butt".

As I'm sure some of you remember, I photographed this stud and beauty's engagement over the summer at their home Mary and Steve's Engagement. A home that happens to be walking distance from their wedding venue; Herrington on the Bay. If rain on your wedding day is good luck, these two got it by the bucket loads. We did manage to sneak in some KILLER night shots of these two. There's something about working in tricky lighting situations that just gets my creative juices going.

Sometimes in wedding photography you get asked to shoot in some pretty interesting locations. People tend to pick a wedding or reception venue that really reflects who they are. While I might be a Baltimore wedding photographer, I had the chance to photograph a wedding in DC where the reception took place at an amazing brewery. The Right Proper Brewery in DC is where Stephanie and Darrel decided to celebrate their wedding with close family and friends. It was freaking awesome!
